IGNCA in collaboration with India Think Council is privileged to initiate and facilitate an interaction on ‘’Cultural Economy’’ with expert luminaries, given its stature in Indian cultural studies, especially in their dimension of interrelationship and mutual interdependence. Since the fundamental approach of the centre in all its work is multi-disciplinary and holistic, there is no better platform to discuss a subject such as this.

Brainstorming with specialists will be on the following topics:

• Policies that can be adopted as future measures towards effective execution of programmes.
• The importance of culture with economic outcomes
• Interdependence of culture, economy and stakeholders
• Significance of institutions/organisations as visionaries and support systems for culture, crucial to dissemination of our heritage and development of our country.
• Heritage and cultural tourism in the light of economic growth and global visiting destination.
